Twenty Dollars Reward.
LOST or Stolen, from the Stage, between
Mitledgeville aud Sp-nta, on Saturday
night last, a Black Leather Travelling TRUNK,
belonging to ihe subscriber aud having his name
attai bed to both handles. It contained a variety
of wealing apparel, a great portion of which was
maiked, together with three bundles, one of
which was addressed to M» s Beers, a second to
Mr. \V P. Beers and the tl ird to Miss Stallings,
all of Augusta. It also coi ained letters, to sev
era) individuals in Augusta, and a number from
that place to the subscriber.
Any perso i finding the Trunk and leaving it
with Mr. P J. Williams,.at Miliedgeville, or Mr
Sterling Jones, in Warrenton, shall receive the
above reward; or for the Trunk and Thief (if
stolen) ai feward of FIFTY DOLLARS.

Ten Dollars Reward
RAN AWAY from the subscriber’s Plantation,
in Columbia County, about the first ofAprl
last a Negro Boy named GEORGE, about 26
years old, 5 feet (Tor 9 inches high, has a large
bushy head of hair, lather light complected, and
inclined to be roundshouhlered —speaks quick
when spoken to, has a sullen look, and shows his
teeth very much when laughing. The above re
ward will be paid on the delivery of said Negro
to me, in Columbia county, or if lodged in any
Jail so tha ; I get him again. It is believed he is
lurking about Augusta and Savannah—and it is
likely ttiat when caught he would not tell his
owner’s name, as lie refused to do so on a
former occasion.
