hereby enacted by the authority of the

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted , That
it shall be the duty of such managers to
transmit to his excellency the Governor
the tesult of said elections under the laws
now of sot co for conducting managing ami
cet tifying elections of membersof General
Assembly as aforesaid, within 30 days af
ter such eJecions—\V hereupon it is made
the duty of His Excellency the Govern
or to isVUe his proclamation declaring the

individuals severally elected to represent
the good people of Georgia in Convention
as contemplated by this act.
Sec. 3, Aad be it farther enacted, That
every cozen of the Untied States shall be
eligible to a seat in s.aid Conversion who
has attained the age of twenty five years,

years immediately preceding the day of
his election and who shall have resided
one year in the county f*r %hich ho shall
he elected.
Sec. 4, And he it further enacted, Thai

Sec Ist. Be it ordained by the City Conned
of Augusta, That all Fodder, Hay and Oats
brought In this city ir. wagons or cart* for sale.,
shall he weighed at tlie scales prepared for tlmt
purpose near the lower market.
Six 2d. Ue it further ordained, That it thall
>e the duty of the clerk of the lower market to
superintend the weighing eful! Fodder, Hay and
Dais, at all hours of the day, from son rise till
-mi set. And tha party selling such Fodder,
Hay or Oats, shall pay to the said clerk fifty ct3
oi each wagon, and twenty-five cents for each
cart or dray
Sec. 3d Be it further ordained, That every
person who shall violate the provisions of this
Ordinance, may he fined in a sum not exceeding
Twenty Dollars.
