The Augusta Chronicle, of the 12th inst. rays,
that Bills of one and two dollars are in circula
tion, to much resembling those of the same de
nominations issued by the bank of the state of

transact their Factorage and Commission Business
having been destroyed ly the fire which took
place in tbe night of tbe 20th instant, they hasten
to inform their distant friends, that, by means of
timely assistance affo.ded them by the spirited ex
ertions of many respectable inhabitants, they have
saved their commercial books and papers, as also
great propbrtion of the produce which they
had cm band- They inform them also, that they
have engaged storage for the produce, or other
articles, that shall be hereafter consigned to them,
in. Mr. Bolton's fire proof stores, and that they
shall, until further notice, transact thrir commer
cial business in the counting room of Messrs. B.
