Jayne’s Hair Tonic—Hair.
T HERE is nothing like a good head of hair to
set off a tnan’i pate. As the poet says—
"—’Tii the robe which curious nature weaves
To hang upon the heed, and doca adorn
Oar bodies."
To be sure a bald head is becoming enough in
a judge, or a minister, for itlooks gravo and ven
erable, and tlio’ it ntay not be au unerring evi
dence of wisdom, yet it is a decisive proof that
the individual is not hair brained.—Young per
sons, especially young beaus sud belles, are rath
er averse to a pretnataro disrobement oftheir
roofs; and he who offers a remedy to preserve
that important ornament must be looked ii|>on in
tb<* light of a benefactor* Aud such a one is Dr.
Jayne, wbese hair tonic lias done wonder* in coax
ing the hair out on barren sputa,.and preventing
its falling off. There is no auackerv about tills
article. Wo have seen evidence of hi efficacy.
A gentleman who has been bnld for a number of
years, by the uso of this tonic, has got quite a
flourishing growth on tho late waste place. Those
whoso hair, like false friends, is leaving them,
will find this an excellent preventive. To young
bucks who espiro to bushy whiskers, this tonic
must bo iovnluabld—end to yoang ladies who
, would preserve their glossy ringlets, it must be
tho great desideratum.-**Portland Trantcript.
