quired by the City Council by resolution* to

of brick or dagstono, and of the dimensions spe
cified in the ninth section of this Ordinance, and
the said pavement shall be of the level and height
marked on the accompanying map of the several
elevations oftbe different streets and squares, and

by die City Surveyor, and in die manner and
upon tlio terms prescribed in llio foregoing sec
tion of this Ordinance, and notice of such resolu
tion shall bo published in the city Gazelles for at

twenty days after the same shall have been pass
ed ; niid if any person shall refuso or neglect to
