AN ORDINANCE
To amend an Ordinance passed January 3,
1868, to issue Bonds for the payment of sub
scription to the M icon A Augusta Railroad.
Sec. I. He it ordained, etc., That the words
"five hundred each’’ bo stricken out, and the
words "one thousand each” be inserted.
Sec. 11. And be it further Ordained, That
all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances milita
ting against this Ordinance be, and the same
are hereby repealed.
Done in Council, this seventh day of February,
1868.

ing tho foregoing Petition, it is ordered by the
Court that a hearing be had upon tho same on
the 3rd day of March, A. D., 1868, before Cbas.
G. McKinley, Register, at tho Register’s Office,
n the city of Newnan, Georgia ; and that notice
thereof be published once a week for two weeks
in the National Republican and New era news
papers, printed in said District; and that all
creditors who have proved their debts, and other
persons in interest, may appear at the said time
and place, and show cause, if any they have,
why tho prayer of the said petition should not
be granted.
And it is further ordered by tho Court, that all
such creditors, whose places of residence are
known, shall be entitled to services of notice of
the said order, either personally or by letter ad
dressed to them at their known usual placo of
abode, attested by the Clerk of the Court, or
served at their usual place of residence by the
Marshal or his Deputy, or seat by mail, whoreof
due notice shall be given; and that the second and
third meeting of creditors be held at the time
and place aforesaid.
