This disease is not only cured by Dr-
Radway’s Relief and Pills, but prevented.
If exposed to it, put one teaspoonful of
Relief in a tumbler of water. Drink this
before going out in the morning, and seve
ral times during the day. Take one of
liadway’3 Pills one hour before dinner and
one on going to bed.
If seized with Fever, take four to six of
the Pills every six hours, until copious dis
charges from the bowels take [dace; also,
drink the Relief diluted with water, and
bailie the entire surface of the body with
Relief. Soon a powerful perspiration will
take place, and you will feel a pleas,
ant heat throughout the system. Keep
on taking Relief immediately, every four
hours, also the Pills. A cure will be
sure to follow. The Relief is strengthen
ing, stimulating, soothing, and quieting ; it
is sure to break up the Fever and to neu
tralize the poison. Let this treatment be
followed, and thousands will be saved.
The same treatment in Fever ami Ague,
Yellow Fever, Ship Fever, Bilious Fever,
will effect a cure in twenty four hours.
When the patient lecla the Relief irritating
or heating the skin, a cure is positive, in
all cases where pain is felt, the Relief
should be used.
Relief, 50 cents; Pills, 25 cents. Sold
by all Druggists.

\\! K a BK THE ATTENTION OF THE PUB
* * LIC to this long tented and unrivalled
FAMILY MEDICINE.
it nas ueen tavorably known for moro than
twenty year.*, during which time we have received
thousands of testimonials, showing this Medicine
to bo an almost never-failing remedy for disoases
caused by or attendant upon—
Sudden Colds, Coughs, Fever and Ague,
Headache, Bilious Fever, Pains in the Side,
Hark and Tjoins, as well as in the Joints and
Limbs; Neuralgia and Rheumatic Fain in
any part of the system, Toothache and Pains
in the head and face.
Asa Blood Purifyer and Tonic for the
Stomach, it seldom fails to cure Dyspepsia,
Indigestion, Liver Complaint, Acid Stomach,
Heartburn, Kidney Complaints, Sick Head
ache, Piles, Asthma or Phthisic, Ringworms,
Boils, Felons, Whitlows, Old Sores, Stcelled
Joints, and General Debility of the System.
It is also a prompt and sure remedy for
Cramp and Pain in the Stomach, Painter’s
Colic, Diarrhoea, Dysentery, Summer Com
plaint, Cholera Morbus, Cholera Infantum,
Scalds, Burns, Sprains, Bruises, Frost Bites,
Chilblains, as xcell as the Slings of Insects,

l'Kituv llavi •’ Pain Killer. -Wo have often
spoken of this great medicine in terms of very
high praise, and wo have as ofun felt that all we
could say in its favor would not do it full justice.
It is one of those medicines of which we can
speak—and speak decisively—from experience ;
for ivo have repeatedly taken it, and invariably
with tho best results and greatest satisfaction.
We'always keep it, on hand, ready for an emer
gency, and wo regard it not only as ono of the
very host medicines in use for various ills, bu>
as ono of the cheapest, also. Its cost, by the
way—that is, the cost of tho ingredients of which
it is composed—has been considerably increased,
but the price of tho medicine lias boon hut very
little advanced. Lt is not likely that the popu
larity of Davis’ Pain Killer tviU in any measure
JorrcoA.';, or that the demand" for it will iu tho
slightest degree decline, until some other specific
for alloying pain and curing various complaints
for w dch it is so generally used, shall ho dis
covered, of equal potency with it—of which
there seems to be hut little probability. Asa
remedy for stomach complaints, such as dysen
tory, diarrhoea, etc., the Pain Killer is, without
doubt, unsurpassed, and evory where most do
se vedly in demand. One, two, or three doses,
ot a teaspoonful each, iu a wine glass of milk
and water, with a little sugar, have repeatedly,
within our knowledge, effectually cured serious
trouble of this kind. Judgment should undoubt
edly he used in checking certain stages of diar
rhoea !"*j suddenly; hut taken at the proper
time, the Pain Killer will act like a charm, and
frequently cure when nothing elso will.—l'rovi

Ayer’s Sarsaparilla,
FOR PURIFYING THE BLOOD.
npilE REPUTATION THIS EXCELLENT
_L niudieine enjoys, is derived from its cures, many
ol which are truly marvellous. Inveterate cases
of Scrofulous disease, where the system seemed
saturated with corruption, have been purified and
cured by it. Scrofulous affections ami disorders,
which were aggravated by the scrofulous conta
initiation until they were painfully afflicting, have
been radically cured in such great numbers in
almost every section of the country, that the public
scarcely need tube informed of its virtues or uses.
Scrofulous poison is one of the most destructive
enemies of our race. Often, this unseen and unfelt
tenant of the organism undermines the constitution,
and invites the attack of enfeebling or fatal diseases,
without exciting a suspicion of its presence.
Again, it seems to breed infection throughout the
body, and then, on some favorable occasion,
rapidly devdope into one or other of its hideous
forms, either on the surface or among the vitals.
In ihe latter, tubercles may be suddenly deposited
in the lungs or heart, or tumors formed in the liver,
or it shows its presence, by eruptions on the skin,
or foul ulcerations on some part of the body.
Hence the occasional use of a bottle of this Swisa
pahilla is advisable, even when no active symp
toms of disease appear. Persons afflicted with the
following complaints generally find immediate
relief, and, at length, cure, by the useofthisSAßSA
l’auii.la . St. Anthony's Fire, Rose or Erysipelas
Tetter, Salt Rheum, Scald Head, Ringworm, Sore
Eyes, Sore Ears, aud other eruptions or visible
forms of Scrofulous disease Also in the more con
cealed forms, as Dyspepsia, Dropsy, Heart
Disease, Kits, Epilepsy, Neuralgia, and the various
Ulcerous affections ot the muscular and nervous
systems.
Syphilis or Venereal and Mercurial Diseases are
cured by it, though a long time is required for sub
duing these oh-tinate maladies by any medicine.
Hut long continued use of this medicine will cure
the complaint. Ueueorrlwea or Whites, Uterine
U Ice rations, *!ud Female Diseases, are commonly
soon relieved and ultimately cured by its purifying
and invigorating effect. Minute Directions for
each ease found in our Almanac, supplied gratis.
Rheumatism aud Gout, when caused by accumu
lations of extraneous matters ill the blood, yield
quickly to it, as also Liver Complaints, Torpidity,
Congestion or Inflammation of the Liver, and
.Jaundice, when arising, as they often do, from the
rankling poisous in the blood. This Sarsata-
KH.LA is a great restorer for the strength and
vigor of tho system. Those who are Languid and
Lbtless, Despondent, Sleepless, and troubled
with Nervous Apprehensions or Fears, or any of
the affections symptomatic of Weakness, will find
immediate relief and convincing evidence of its
resortative power upon trial.
