Postponed Assignee’s Sale.
rN PURSUANCE OF AN ORDER OF
Hou. A. G. Foster, Register in Bankruptcy,
will be sold between the legal hours of sale, at
Edgeiietd Court House, in the county of Edgefield
and State of South Carolina, on the first Monday
in January next, all the right, title and interest of
Francis Murray, Bankrupt, in the following
property, to-wit:
All that tract of Land being in the county and
State aforesaid, on Big Horse Creek, waters of
the Savannah river, containing 2,080 acres, more
or less, and bounded on the west by lands now
or formerly belonging to Wm. Gregg, on the
northeast by lands now orformerly Lewis Elzey's,
on the east by lands now or formerly Mat May’s
and E Posey's, on the southeast by land now or
formerly G, Rozier’s and Mrs. R. Swearingin's, on
tlie south by lands now or formerly Wm. Riggs’
and J. Hatcher's. Also, all the right, title and
interest of said Bankrupt in that other tract of
Land lying in the countv and State afore
i-aid, near the Graniteville depot, on the South
Carolina railroad, containing one and acres,
more or less, and bounded on the west by land
now or formerly William Morris’, on the south
and east by laud now or formerly Michael
O'Brien’s, on the north by the South Carolina
Railroad. The aforesaid tracts of Land being toe
same conveyed to said Francis Murray by Lucius
L. Hull, by deed dated the 27th day of November,
18t>6. Also, a lease hMd interest in four acres of
land adjoining Kalmia Mills, upon which there is
a wooden house, containing seven rooms. Also,
two small carts.
The interest of said Francis Murray, in the
aforementioned property to be sold free from the
encumbrance of any lien, held by any creditors of

in the city of Augusta, the fallowing property,
viz., situated in the county of Richmond: One
Tract of Land, shoot three miles from the city of
Augusta, ou the Augusta und Savannah Railroad
(excepting the right of wav of said railroad
through said tract of land), containing three hun
dred and nine acres, more or less, bounded south
by lands of John Pbiuizv and Rocky Creek, on
the west by landsnow or formerly owned by De
Laigle, on the north by land now or formerly
owned by DeLaiglo and a lane of John Phinizy,
east by laud of John Pliiuizy. Levied on under
u mortgage fi. fa. on foreclosure issued from the
the Superior Court of Richmond connty, in favor
of John Pluuizy against Robert C. Easterling, to
satisfy said debt and costs, us the property of
Robert G. Kastetling, being for the purchase
money of said tract of land, except such portion
of said land as claimed by defendant as exempt
from levy and sale; said land being now in pos
session of John C. Spinks. And notice this day
served on him according to law. The above prop
erty pointed out by John Phinizy.

Market House, in the city of Augusta, between
the legal hours of sale, those Three Lots of Land,
in said county, known as lots Nos. 1, 2 and 3, on
a plan of lots drawn by Edwin V. Sharpe, and
copied in a deed of said lots by John Brandon to
Henry T. Nelson. The said lot, No. 3, fronting
on the Summerville Plunk Road, or Graded
Road, now called the Augusta Avenue, seventy
five feet, and situate one hundred and forty feet
from Liberty street, and east thereof, and run
ning back of, even with, one hundred and sev

back from said new street towards said Liberty

the southern boundary line of said lots, Nos. 3
and 4, and the three lots having been conveyed
to said Nelson by and from John Brandon, re
corded in the Clerk’s office of this county in book

entitled cause, dated March 25, 1867, to me di

the Monroe Railroad and Banking Company, Bibb
