LOCAL MATTERS.
Shooting.—There was considerable
of > tow oa Jackson street, near Walker,
yesterday, betweeu an inebriated white man
aid some colored people. One negro was
shot in the leg, and the white man was
wounded in the face. The latter was ar
rested.
