—The famous trotting horse, Dexter,
was sold by auction on Union Course,

—The latest invention is the “palpi
tating bosom," tor the ladies, which

—Dr. Ilall, in an elaborate article in
his Journal oj Health, on cholera and

calomel is the only remedy, and that to
employ any other is to trifle with human

—When the sewerage of Paris is

More than a thousand steam voyages
