- a 7t* *sun Wklls.—The Augusta Consti
tutionalist, in speaking of Dr. Robertson’s
lecture on Artesian Wells before the Library
Association of tlint City, remarks—
\Ve are pl&ased to learn that the Artesian
Well in Charleston, which has progressed nj-
leacly uiore than 900 feet, is not abandoned,
j l i,„t the enterprise will bo continued to a
final triumph.
This subject is one ot great practical impor
tance t» the South, and not less to Georgia than
,,, „ n y other Southern State. It is entirely
practicable to have Artesiun Wells wherever
nccJed, ot moderate expense, and we look for
ward to the introduction of them at no distant
,lav, in many sections not favored with pure,
healthy water.
There are many counties in the middle and
lower sections of Georgia, which need nothing
Imt this element in its pure state to make them
desirable and healthy abodes.

A NEW and brilliant light ha
lately arisen and now stands high in
■ 111 the horizon, shedding its golden light
of hope upon the.dark despairing minds of the bed
ridden ana afflicted with pain, like the bursting forth
of the congenial rays of the sun upon the cold, dismal

RADAVVAY’S READY RELIEF.
An instantaneous antidote for pains of all kinds, the
very instant Raaawuy's Ready Relief is applied, its
pain-relieving qualities are realized. It will relieve the
most severe pains of Rheumatism, Lumbago, Gout,
l’aralysis, Tic Doloreux, &c, in a few minutes.
RHEUMATISM;
Its Cause Treatment and Cure.
All Rheumatic pains instantly cured by Radawny’s
Ready Relief.
Rheumatism arises from different causes, but
most generally proceed from colds, exposure to cold
dampweathcr. and sleeping in damp apartments. This
complaint is divided into two classes; the firstinflam-
matory, so called from the swelling and inflammation
that attends the pains in the parts affected; second,
Chronic Rheumntism, so called from the long contin
uance of the disease. It is aiso known as Lumbago,
or pain in the back ; Sciaticta, or pains in the hip or
groin; Anthrodynin, or pains in the joints. The acute
Rheumatism generally terminates into one ot these
and becomes a chronic complaint.
RADAWAY'S SOAP, as a beautifier of tile skin. It

shaving purposes is the beet in use. One cake of

the some size of any other soap i n use, therefore it is
the cheapest and best soap in the world. Price 25
cents, lurge cakes in engraved wrappers, and the sig
nature R. G. Radaway, upon each wrapper.

TEA CULTIVATION IN THE U. STATES.
brated Tea Plantations of the Empire, I am prepared
to fulfil my engagements by accommodating the pub
lic with a share of tho Nuts received. My main ob
ject Is to plant and cultivate; but ns I am quite cer
tain that I have obtained, at'tor the labor of three
years, the best quality of Tea Nuts, 1 am disposed to
meet the wishes of the public, and to share them
with others.—TeaNuts gathered in the neighborhood
of Canton arc scarcely worth cultivating, on account
of the inferior quality of the Tea. It is obviously the
interest of the planter to submit to an increased ex
pense, to secure a superior quality of Tea Nut, in es
tablishing a Tea Plantation, whether large or small.
In prosecuting this arduous undertaking, I am in
fact acting as an agent for the benefit of the public.
Neither the State, the public, or any individual, has
ever extended to me the aid of a single cent.
For convenience and security, the Nuts will bo
packed in tin boxes, and forwarded from Greenville,
S. C- by such conveyance and to such address as the
purchaser may direct, to any port of the U. States.
TEA PLANTS—now on their passage from Chino,
selected with a single eye to quality, by a gentleman
of large experience in horticultural pursuits, and p r-
liaps better acquainted with the character of the Tea
Plant, than any person in Europe or America—will
also be shared with those desirous of obtaining a
small supply.
A specification of the soil best adapted to the growth
of tho plant, the mode of planting, cultivating, See.
See., will accompany each parcel.
Application should be made (post-paid) to the sub
scriber.
