R.R.R.
morning NEWS.
From the Commercial Advertiser.
A Niglit at Son.
Wildly heaves the mighty ocean
With the undulating tide;
And around unfathomed waters
In terrific splendor ride.
High above our struggling vessel
Swells the sea-foam’s sparkling crest,
And o'erwheluiing giant billows
Break incessant o'er her breast.
All around huge, liquid mountains
Rise in grim and awful shape,
And the sullen sky above us
Wears a scowling mask of crape.
Tangled coils of curling waters,
Likohuge hydra-headed snakes.
Clasp and writhe and burst asunder,
'Mill the white foam’s frothy flakes.
Rushing, rending, reeling round us,
Waves of blackest, foulest stains,
Roll and stretch like monstrous serpents
Bristling high their glossy manes.
Through each yawning, frightful chasm,
'Mid the rugged elelts of wave ;
With a howl ot dread vehemence,
Swift the tempest voices rave.
Stronger blows the gale, and louder!
Bursting o’er each panting sail;
Rushing through the .training cordage
With a wild, infuriated wait
Deeper, darker, flows the water,
Blacker frowns the midnight sky ;
Higher tho regal crested billows
Dash with awful fury by.
See the stately masts are bending,
Bowing to the hollow blast,
And the topsail spars are rifted,
As the hurricane rides past
Now a frightful wave Impending,
O’er US lifts its ragged head ;
And a gulf of grave-like horror
Drags us ’mid its foaming bed.
Oh, great God I unveil thy heavens,
Curb thy anger, stay thine wrath,
In this hour of storm and darkness
Let a ray of light come forth.
Speak to this, thy mighty ocean,
Bid its angry waves be still;
Look on us, thy feeble creatures—
Oh ! remember mercy still. Antrobus.
A NEW and brilliant light has
lately arisen and now stands high in
the horizon, shedding its golden liglit
oi hope upon the dark despairing minds of the bed
ridden and rtllicted with pain, like the bursting forth
of the congenial rays of the sun upon the cold! dismal
regions of the frigid zone. The three letters which
head this paragraph is the signification of
RADAWAY’S READY RELIEF.
An instantaneous antidote lor pains of all kindB, the
very instant Uadaway’s Ready Relief is applied, its
pain-relieving qualities nre realized. It will relieve the
most Bevere pains of Rheumatism, Lumbago, Gout,

All Rheumatic pains instantly cured by Radaway’s
Ready Relief.
Rheumatism arises from different causes, but
most generally proceed.from colds, exposure to cold
dampweather. and sleepingin damp apartments. This
complaint is divided into two classes; the firstintlnm-
matory, so culled from the swelling and inflammation
that attends the pains hi the parts a fleeted; second,
Chronic Rheumatism, so culled from the long contin
uance of the disease. It is uiso known ns Lumbago,
or pain in the buck ; Sciaticin, or pains in the hip or
groin; Anthrodynia, or pains in the joints. The acute
Rheumatism generally terminates into one of these
and becomes a chronic complaint,

shaving purposes if the best in use. One cake of

the same size of any other soapi n use, therefore it is
the cheapest and best soap in the w orld. Price 25
cents, large cakes in engraved wrappers, and the sig
nature R. G. Radaway, upon each wrapper.

TEA CULTIVATION IN THE U. STATES.
TTAVING received a small supply of TEA NUTS,
in collected at great expense of money and labor,
in the middle districts of China, from the most cele
brated Tea Plantations of the Empire, I am prepured
to fulfil my engagements by ^ccommoduting the pub
lic with a share of the Nuts received. My main ob
ject is to plant and cultivate; but as I am quite cer
tain tflut I have obtained, after the labor of three
years, the best quality of Tea Nuts, I am disposed to
nieet tlie wishes of the public, and to shure them
with others.—TeaNuts gathered in the neighborhood
of Canton are scarcely worth cultivating, on account
of the inferior quality of the Tea. It is obviously the
interest of the planter to submit to an increased ex
pense, to secure a superior quality of Tea Nut, in es
tablishing a Tea Plantation, whether large or small.
In prosecuting this arduous undertaking, I am in
fact acting ns an agent for the benefit of the public.
Neither the State, the public, or any individual, has
ever extended to me the aid of a single cent.
For convenience and security, the Nuts will be
packed in tin boxes, and forwarded from Greenville,
S. C., by such conveyance and to such address aa the
purchaser mny direct, to any part of the U. States;
TEA PLANTS—now on their paseagefrom China,
selected with a single eye to quality, by a gentleman
of large experience inhorticultural pursuits, and p r-
liaps better acquainted with the character oi tlie Pea
Plant, than any person in Europe or America—will
also be shared with those deBirous of obtaining a
small supply.
