and the sales reached 734 bales, ns follows; 30 lrules

cents.
AUGUSTA, May 14.—The stock in Augusta anil
Hamburg remains about the same figures as on tlie
first of the month—the shipments not being heavier
than the receipts.
Our market for the past week has been very quiet,
aud sales have not exceeded 800 bales. Holders are
firm, and offer their stocks sparingly, but prices are
not so firm as previous to the accounts of tile Niaga
ra. Wc quote extremes 10} to 12 j cents.
MACON, May 13.—The operations during the past
week were quite limited, holders continuing to evince
very little disposition to sell. We quote extremes to
day 10* to 11} cents. <
