TJIE GREATEST DISCOVERY OF TIIE

D R. TOBIAS’S VENETIAN LJNIMENT is war
ranted to be superior to any other medicine yet
known for the cure of
Wens, Burns* Coughs, Lumbago, Headache, P if sen-
teru, Chilblains, Sett Sickness, Chapped Hands,
Old Sores. Croup, Swellings, Warts, Hemorrhage,
Cramp, Chronic fthe.umatiam. Weakness in the
Limbs, Cholera, Vomiting. Cuts, Bruises, Cold
Feet, Corns, Tooth-Ache, Sore Throats, Palpitation
a f the Heart, »Vc.,
This Liniment was the discovery of the late Dr. So
lomon, of Gilead House, Liverpool, a graduate of the
College of Surgeons in Dublin, aud was used with
great success throughout England duringa period of
15 years, since which it has become the property of
the present proprietor, the grandson of the late doc
ter; and during the time it lias been introduced into
this country over 1000 certificates have been received,
speaking in the highest terms of its pain releiving
qualities; and to prove what, it is represented to be,
every agent is ordered to refund the money should it
tail to give relief when used according to the drections.
A few certificates are given.
Ccrtficatc oi Mrs. L. I. Cohen.
Having used in my family, with the most complete
success, Dr. Toblnn s Venetian Liniment for croup,
ocmgh, headache pain in the limbs, sore throat, &e„ 1
feel it no more than an act of justice to the Doctor to
give this certificate ; and the speedy cures it has affec
ted, have been most astonishing. 1 am never without
a bottle of it in my house, and am sure no one will re
gret trying it.
SOPHTA COHEN, 261 Ninth street.
Certificate of Mrs. W. E. Cornish.
Dr.Tobias—»5ir : One of my children was severely
attacked with croup. I used your Venetian Lini
ment which gavejmmgdinte relief, and I really think
it was the means of saving my child’s life. Under
no consideration would f be without a bottle in my
house. 1 also consider it n most certain remedy fqr
scalds and bruises, having thoroughly tested it for the
same.
SARAH CORNISH,354 Bowery.
City and County vf New York, ss—Andrew Hun
ter, of said city, being duly sworn, doth depose and
say, that lie was engaged in superintending the con
struction ,of a sewer in 30tli street, between the 6th
and 6th uvenues, nml in hoisting up a large stone of
nearly a ton weight, the fall gave way and precipita
ted deponent, with the stone, into the sewer, a distance
of over fifteen feet, striking him on iho back and
shoulder, which so severely jammed and bruised de
ponent, that lie was taken up insensible ’and thought
to be killed. l)r. Tobias was immediately sent for,
and applied the Venetian Liniment, which so revived
tliis deponent that in a few minutes he wa able to
speak ; and by the constant use of this most valuable
preparation, he was fiidliciently recovered to attend
to his business as usual,in the short space of four days,
to the astonishment of all who witnessed the accident.
