A RESCUE TO TIIE AFFLICTED.
THE CELEBRATED.
JEW DAVID'S,
HEBREW PLASTER.
A certain remedy for all fixed pains in tho Side,
Cheat, Loins, Back, Bowels, Muscles, Rlicumntisin in
all its varied forms, Nervous Affections, Lungs and
Liver Complaints, Spinal Affections, Female Weak
nesses, etc., etc. For tho above complaints this Plas
ter has no equal. The ggeat celebrity which it has
alrendy acquired, not only in tho old, but in the new
world, the extraordinary cures it has performed in
tile most extreme cases of suffering, have acquired
for it such a reputation, that the proprietor bus not
until recently been able to supply half the demand.
The sales throughout every city, town and village
in the United States, are without a parallel I
A circuinstauco not surprising, when the vnst n-
mount of human suffering relieved by its use is con
sidered. In spinal Defects, the benefit usually is of
the mestdecided character. In Nervous Complaints,
ninetei n cases out of twenty rendily yield to the pen
etrating stirnula combined in this valuable prepara
tion.
In Rheumatism, either acute or chronic, tho claims
of the Hebrew Plaster have long since been univer
sally acknowledged. Those who are laboring under
weak backs, no matter from what cause the weakness
may Iihvo originated—even if such persons have been
misguided in previous applications in the use of the
Hebrew Plaster they will find the affected part sud
denly restored to its original soundness.
As a supporter in cases of constitutional weakness
it will be found of grant advantage. It is particular
ly recommended to Females who are suffering from
sudden weakness,, or general debility. In short, it
nmbrnroa all the virtues which the mostscientlfie mind
was capable cf compounding from valuable substan
ces found in the old world, and wiii be found entire
ly free from those objections which are a source of
complaint with the numerous spread-plasters now
before tho public.
In!’* These plasters possess the advantage of be
ing put up in air tight boxes—hence they retain their
lull, virtues in all climates.
Beware of Counterfeits and Bane Imitation**.
None gamine without tho engraving of .lew David
on the wrapper around each box. Price 30 cents per
box. Each box contains sufficient to spread six or
eight plasters.
Marks of the Genune:
1st. The genuine input up in smooth, engineturned
bottomed boxes.
2. The genuine has the engraved head of Juo l/avid
on the directions, around the box
3d. Unless it has, (on the direction around box) a
■npy of the Record of the Court to E. Tavi-oii, Koch-

Having used in my family, with tlie most complete
success, Dr. Tobias's Venetian Liniment ior croup,

feel It no more than an act of justice to the Doctor to
give this certificate ; and tlie speedy cures it 1ms affec

a bottle of it in my house, and urn sure no one will re

Certificate of Mrs. W. E. Cornish.
Dr. Tobias—Sir: One ot my children was severely
attacked with croup. I used your Venetian Lini
ment which gave immediate relief, nnd 1 really think
it was the means of saving my child's life. Under
no consideration would I be without a bottle in my
house. 1 also consider it a most certain remedy for
scalds and bruises, having thoroughly tfcsted it for the
same.
