A RESCUE TO THE AFFLICTED.
THE CELEBRATED.
A certain remedy for all fixed pains in the Side,
ChoBt, Loins, Back, Bowels, Muscles, Rheumatism in
all ita varied forms, Nervous Atfectlnns, Lungs and
Liver Complaints, Spinal Affections, Female Weak
nesses, etc., etc. For the above complaints this Plas
ter has no equal. The great celebrity which it has
already acquired, not only in the old, hut in the new
world, the extraordinary cures it has performed in
the most extreme casus of suffering, have acquired
for it such a reputation, that the proprietor has not
until recently been able to supply half the demand.
The sales throughout every city, town and village
in the United States, are without a parallel!
A circumstance not surprising, when the vast a-
mouiit of human fullering relieved by ita use is con
sidered. In spinal Defects, tho benefit usually is of
tlie most decided character. In Nervous Complaints,
nineteen cases out of twenty readily yield to the pen
etrating stimuli! combined in this valuable prepara
tion.
In Rheumatism, cither acute or chronic, the claims
of the Hebrew Plaster have long since horn univer
sally acknowledged. Those who are laboring under
weak backs, no matter from what cause the weakness
may have originated—even if such persons have been
misguided in previous applications in the use of the
Ilghrew Plaster they will find the affected part sud
denly restored to its original soundness.
As a supporter in eases of constitutional weakness
it will bo found of great advantage. It is particular
ly recommended to Females who are sufipving from
sudden weakness, or general debility. In short, it
embraces nil the virtues which the mostscientific mind
was capable of compounding from valuable substan
ces lound in the old world, imtl wiil he found entire
ly free from those objections which are a source of
complaint with the numerous spread-plasters now
before the public'.
C4p p These piasters possess tne advantage of be
ing put up in air tight boxes—hence they retain their
fuTlj virtues in all climates.

From William Richards, M. I).
I feel constrained from a tense ot duty to make
the following statement, conscious that it may appear
unprofessional. Mr. Charles Wade, ol this city was
quite low with Pulmonary Consumption, lor which I
had been treating with less than usual success. At
his request, and that ot his friends, I permitted him
to try Dr. Rogers’ Liverwort and Tar ; and I must
corners that ita effects were really surprising. After
using the second bottle my visits were discontinued
