L ANDttUTii’S GARDEN SEED •—TU
PURCHASERS OF GARDEN SEEDS. It is
self evident, tliat unless the seeds which we mny
sow, are good in all respects, it will be folly to ex-
peetfavorable results—either we shall be disappoint
ed by their not vegetating, or what is Btili more
vcrcatious, find, after careful culture, tliHt the variety
^worthless:—How many from their own experi
ence can estimate the annoyance of such an event I
Conscious of the room for improvement, and assured
that the seeds-nian who should justly lie entitled to
confidence, would receive ample support, the foun
ders ot the establishment, now conducted by the
subscriber, started more than half a century ago.
with, the determination to sell nothing but whut was
worthy of credit; and that they might the more cer
tainly accomplish their object, resolved to produce,
as far as possible, the seeds which they should rend;
experience having shown them thut most imported
seeds could not he relied on, much less t/to»e casual
ly collected, and sold to dealers.—The result was aB
they hod foreseen :—unlimited public confidence.
The concern thus conducted, lias been gradually en
larged, and is now the most extensive of its kind in
America ; supplying not only much of the demund
in the Middle, Western and Southern States, hut ex
porting to the West Indies, South America and the
British Posessions in Asia. DAVID LANDRET1I.

A certain remedy for all fixed pains in the Side,
Chest, Loins, Back, Bowels, Muscles, Rheumatism in
all its varied forms, Nervous Atfoctions, Lungs und
Liver Complaints. Spinal Affections, Female Weak
nesses, etc., etc. For the above compluints this Pias
ter has no equal. The great celebrity which it has
already acquired, not only in the old. hut in the new
world, the extraordinary cures it lias performed in
the most extreme cases of suffering, have acquired
for it such ii reputation, that tile proprietor lias not
until recently been able to supply half the demand.
Tlie sales throughout every city, town and village
in the United States, are without a parallel!
A circumstance not surprising, when the vast u-
mouiit of human suffering relieved by its use is con
sidered. In spinal Defects, the benefit usually is of
tho most decided character. In Nervous Complaints,
nineteen cases out of twenty readily yield to the pen
etrating stimula combined in this valuable prepara
tion.
In Rheumatism, either acute or chronic, the claims
of the Hebrew Plaster have long since been univer
sally acknowledged These who are laboring under
weak hacks, no matter from what cause the weakness
may have originated—even if such persons have been
misguided in previous applications in the use of the
Hebrew Plaster they will find tile affected part sud
denly restored to its original soundness.
As a supporter in euses of constitutional weakness
it will be tound of great advantage. It is particular
ly recommended to Females who are sufiering from
sudd'-n weakness, or general debility. In short, it
embraces all the virtues which the mostscientific mind
was capable of compounding ft om valuable substan
ces tound in tho old world, and wiil he found entire
ly free from those objections which are a source of
complaint with the numerous spread-plasters now
before the public.
f 33S 3 Those plasters possess the advantage of be
ing put up in air tight boxes—hence they retain their
full, virtues in all climates.

quite low with Pulmonary Consumption, tor which I
had been treating with less than usual success. At
his request, nnd that of his friends, I permitted him
to try l)r. Rogers’ Liverwort and Tar; and 1 must

from the violation of divine ami moral laws. To
those afflicted, the AMERICAN COMPOUND is pre
