This Liniment was thn discovery of the late Dr. So

College of Surgeons in Dublin, aud was used with
great success throughout England during a period of
15 years, since which it has become tho property of
tho present proprietor, the grandson of tho late dor

this country over 1000 certificates have been received,
speaking in the highest terms of its pain roleiving

every agent is ordered to refund the money should it
fail to give reliei when lined according to the drections.

Ilnving used in uiy family, witli tho most complete

feel it no more than an act of justice to tlie Doctor to

Dr. Tobias—Sir: One of my children was severely
attacked with croup. I used your Venetian Lini

it was the moans of saving my child’s life. Under
no consideration would I be without n bottle in my

From Dr. Hiram Cox.
Late Professor in Cincinnati Electric Medical College.
Mr. A. J.. Scovill: However reluctant I have been
to permit my name to bo attached to patent medi
cine, 1 consider it a duty to the community to state
that in three cases of incipient consumption, viz: Miss
Belt, Miss Barger, and Mr. R. II. Cox, one of the Ci
ty Council, thut Dr. Rogers’ Liverwort anil Tar ope
rated more like a specific than any other remedy, that
I ever used. One of the cases, viz : Miss Bell, pro
nounced by several Physicians to he laboring under
the last stago of Scrofulous Consumption. She is
now in good heulth, from the use of a fow bottles of
the above syrup. HIRAM COX, M. D.
Cincinnati, Jan. 25,1647.
Front the Hon. Judge Henry Morse.
Mr. A. L. Scovill: l am well acquainted with
Dr. Hiram Cox nnd his practice, ho having been my
family physician for many years, and can cheerfully
say that I have ns much confidence in his skill as any
man living. HENRY MORSE.

1 foci constrained from a seneo of duty to mnke
the following statement, conscious that it may appear
unprofessional. Mr. Charles Wade, of this city, was
quite low withT’ulmonsrv Consumption, for which I
had been treating with less than usual success. At
his request, and that of Ilia friends, L permitted him
to try Dr. Rogers’ Liverwort and Tar ; mid 1 must
confess that its effects were really surprising. Al ter
using the second bottle my visits were discontinued,
and he was soon restored to health. I do con
scientiously recommend my brother practitioners to
prescribe this remedy in till pulmonary complaints
which baffle the ordinary mode of treatment.
