1 feel constrained from a sense ol duty to make
the following statement, conscious that it may appear
unprofessional. Mr. Charles Wade, of this city, was
quite low with Pulmonary Consumption, for which 1
had boon treating with less than usual success. At
his request, and that of his friends, I permitted him
to try Dr. Rogers' Liverwort nnd Tar; nnd I must
confess thutits eil'ects were really surprising. After
using the second bottle my visits were discontinued,
and ho was soon restored to health. I do con
scientiously recommend my brother practitioners to
prescribe this n medy in all pulmonary complaints
which biitlle tho ordinary mode of treatment.

A certain remedy for all fixed pains in the Side,
Chest, Loins, Back, Bowels, Muscles, Rheumatism in
nil its varied forms, Nervous Affections, Lungs and
Liver Complaints. Spinal Affections, Female Weak
nesses, etc., etc. For tho above complaints this Plas
ter has no equal. The great celebrity which it has
already acquired, not only in the old, but in the now
world, the extraordinary cures it has performed iu
the most extreme cases of suffering, have acquired
for it such n reputation, that the proprietor fiu.: not
until recently been able to supply half the deinund.
The sales throughout every city, toWn and village
in the United States, are without a parallel 1
A circumstance not surprising, when the vast a-
niount of human suffering relieved by its uso is con
sidered. In spinal Defects, the heneht usually is of
the most decided character. In Nervous Complaints,
nineteen cases out of twenty readily yield to the pen
etrating stimula combined in this valuable prepara
tion.
In Rheumatism, cither acute or chronic, the claims
of the Hebrew Plaster hove long since been univer
sally acknowledged. Those who are laboring under
weak backs, no matter from what cuuso the weakness
may have originated—even if such persons have been
misguided in previous applications in thuusoof the
Hebrew Plaster they will find the affected part sud
denly restored to its original soundness.
As a fiu]qiai'ter in cases of constitutional weakness
it will be lound of great advantage, it is particular
ly recommended to Females who are sulierimr from
sudden weakness, or general debility. In short, it
embraces all the virtues which the most scientific mind
wus capable of compounding from valuable substan
ces lound in the old world, and-wiil be found entire
ly free from those objections which are a source of
complaint with the numerous spread-plasters now
before the public.
These plasters possess the advantage of be
ing put up in air tight boxes—hence they retain their
full virtues in all climates.
