I feel constrained from a sense ot duty to make
the following statement, conscious that it may appear
unprofessional. Mr.(Charles Wade, olthiscity. was
quite low with Pulmonary Consumption, tor which I
hnd beep treating with less than usual success. At
his request, and that of-his friends, I permitted him
to try Dr. Rogers' Liverwort and Tar ; and I must
confess that its effects were really surprising. After
using the second bottle my visits were discontinued,
and he wiib soon restored to health. I do con-
scionliousiy recommend my brother practltiohers to
prescribe tills re medy in all pulmonary complaints
which battle the ordinary mode of treatment

Compound Fluid Ex-trnct of Conyzn nnd
Styliingiit.
rpHIS preparation is a Concentrated Extract, con
4 taining all the Active Medical Properties ol tin
Conyza, (commonly known as Black Root,) and the
Styllingia, or Queen’s Delight.
These plants have been long used among our South
ern Negroes, and recently by the Medical Profession
with the happiest results, in cases of Chronic ttheu
mutism, Ulcers of long standing, and Secondary
Syphilis. It is much superior to any preparation ol
Sarsaparilla as an alterative, being mure active and
prompt in its operation on the system. These facts
have induced the subscribers to present to the atten
tion of Physicians a fluid extract prepared strictly ac
cording to Chemical and Puinulccutiral science, de
void ot all the feculent and inert parts of the roots,
not doubting that it will supersede the unscientific and
crude preparations hitherto used.
Price—*1 per bottle, or six bottles for ®5.
