rnpHE fubferibers having tlieir cotton ginning machinery
X in complete order, which, being impelled by water,
Will enable tliem to carry on the business on an extehfive
scale, offer to gin cotton, with rollers , on the following
low terms: t
They will engage to gin, cleah, and pack, fit few market,
the black feed cotton, at the low rate of two pence per
pound; and, for ever)’ hundred pounds of good unginned
green feed cotton they may receive they will engage to re
turn twenty pounds of the lame cotton well ginned arid

HAVING arranged and call up the votes from such
counties as have made returns of elections held for
persons to teprefent this state in the House of Representa
tives of so e Congress of the Lhiited States, and it appearing
that James Jones and Benjamin 1 aliaterro, Esquires, have
the highest number of votes for tbe fame, I HAVE
THOUGHT FIT to issue this my proclamation, notifying
the fame, in orJer that the said James Jones and Benjamin
Taliaferro may fignify tlieir acceptance or refufal of their
said appointments; and also that they adduce the requisites
and qualifications required by law.
Given under my hand, and the great seal of the
said state, at the Statehouse in Louisville, this
thirtieth day of November, in the year of our

Tom. a very Well made smart little fellow, has his hair
tied behind, or rather on the top of his head, or near it;
he is a cooper by trade. Fanny , his wife, a very likely
young wench, about 5 feet 6 inches high, dresses veiy
neatly, and has been a house servant. They are well
known about Savannah and moft of the plantations in the
vicinity, where tliey have always lived till lately. It is
fnppofed they will fork about tfie plantation of George
Millen, Elq. or feme other in, that neighborhood, from
whence they ‘rill make frequent visits to the city; Ten
dollars will be paid for tlie delivery of either of them le

support from the inhabitants of those counties immediately
concerned in.tliat navigation; arid they are happy to acknow
