deavor to get to North Carolina, and in all probability will
change his name and dress. I hereby forewarn all canteins
or masters of vessels from taking fakl Negro, under
the penalty of the law. The above reward wiTl be given
to any person who will deliver him to me in Savannah, or
secure him in any gaol, so that I get him again.

peding manner as might deceive the nv ft cautious. Any
one who {hall take up tbe said Nelly in the Hate of Geor
gia, and shall lodge her iu gaol, or deliver her to the fub
feriber, fhal! receive 40 dollars reward; 7odoHars to any
one who shall take her up in the next state, and io<J dol
lars to any one who shall secure her hi the third state, and
lodge her in the gaol of the place where taken, or deliver
her to the fubferiber in Savannah. 200 dollars reward will

The adjutant generd will again proceed to the annual
convention of the field officers of the refpeaive re
giments and battalions, together with the brigade infpeftora
of the brigades they respectively belong to, at focb tiroes,
and at such places, as mar be meft convenient for all the
field officers of such brigades, in order to irrftmd them ia
the discipline preferibed by Ccngrefe, and in order that the
evolutions preferibed by law may be pra&tfed. The briga
dier generals will order a companv of light infantry or ‘
fofiliers to attend each refpecuve brigade convection of of.

arise in convening the field officers in each brigade, and

pole of being inftrucled in the diiciplme and evolutions.

mental or battalion officers, with the adjutants and Srft
ftrjeants thereof, for the pnrpofe of inftrucking them in the
said discipline. And it is of the grealeft consequence
tliat the privates flioald be panicularly taught the duty re

refpeefive regiments and battalions are called on to ad ia
concert with tbe adjutant general and brigade infpe&ors,
by r ordering regimental and battalion inufters at such time*
as they may be notified by the adjutant general that he will
attend them for the parpoie.

fpectian, to provide the commander in chief with a retun
