A*NEW IMPROVED
Patent R i tf It t for Sale.
B Y virtue of Letters Patent to me, granted on the
14th day of May, 1836, for my improvement in
the circular saw mill, 1 now ofler for sale the right
t»y counties, or hy the single mill, for the State of Geor
gia alone. The mill is designed for horse power, and
i* simple in its construction there being but little ma-
ofainery about it, and can be built bv any good hunt
workman. The cost of the mill will not exceed 5pb50
or $706; and. indeed, the actual cost, or money re-j
quired to build one of these mills, with a great many |
men, will not exceed that of the cotton machine now |
in use in this Slate, for when the farmer can have
much of the work done in building u cotton muchine,
lie can also have much nf the work done in building j
one of these mills, and thereby save the paying out ol |
•ooie two or throe hundred dollars. It is believed that
one good draught horse will saw the rise of a thousand ,
feet of timber in a day; at any rate!, the inventor of this j
improvement will warrant two horses to cut twelve
hundred feet in the day. and these horses to stand the j
labor as well or better than they ib* in picking of j*oi- j
ton. In a reasonable time there will be a model made. ,
nad kept in Columbus, where it may be seen. I
