lands and improvements, to wit:—1673 acres, more or
less, in one body, on the waters of Sugar Creek, adjoining
M. W. Warren, Janies P. Smith, ami otic rs; the settle
ment will he divided into lots to suit purchasers. One
other settlement of four hundred and eighteen acres,
situate, lying and being on the waters of the Appalachia
river—two hundred and seventy-eight acres, lying in tin*
eminty of Greene—one hundred and forty acres in the
county of Morgan, divided by the Appalachie river, on
which is a substantial to,: Bridge, yielding annually an in
come of flow six to eight hundred dollars: the settlement
joins lands of Zachari&h Fears, Baldwin Copeland, and
others; the first described settlement comprises some e)
the best farming lands in the county, now in good lepair
for making a crop, a more minute description is deemed
unnecessary—we invite purchasers to examine for them
selves. These lands are sold as the real estate of the late
William Harris, deceased, of said county, for the purpose

O N Toe^Sav, the 80th cvf Odober next, will be sold at die
late residence of John ’Floyd, deceased, in Morgan
county, all the perishable property of said deceased, consist
ing of household and kitchen furniture, a large stock of cows
horses, mules, hogs and sheep, plantation tools, wagon nod
harness, oxen and carts, a four wheel carnage, good as new,
corn, fodder and wheat.
And on the first Tuesday in January next, will be sold at
the Court-house in Madison, Morgan county, all the neeroes
of said deceased, consisting of men, women and children,
among whom are a good blacksmith, wagoner aud carriage
driver, and also all the lands of said deceased, lying in the
county of Morgan, to wit: five hundred acres, more or less
on which I he deceased formerly resided, well improved, hav
ing on it a well furnished, commodious dwelling, with ueces
sary out buildings.
Also, the interest of said deceased, in the laud whereon T
B. Ilees, Esq formerly resided, aud the adjoining lauds
lately owned by John M. Butler and A. B. Wood, which
several lots contain 890 acres, more or less, with a large two
srorv dwelling, nearly new and well finished, with good out
buildings.
And also, the interest of said deceased, in €50 acres on the
Appalachie river, lying broadside of the above described
lands, very fertile, and oti which are a good set of Mills in
successful operation, and as tine a slieal for the erection of
machinery, as any in the Southern country.
And on the first Tuesday iu February next, will be sold at
the Court-house in Clark county, the interest of the deceased
in 500 acres of laud, on the Appalachie river, in said county
on which the deceased resided many years ago, with a com
fortable tl'ljdling house, gin house, and out houses, 150 acres
