consumating the gjeat objects of their convention, to wit: a
reduction and eqalizatiou of tlie General Assembly; shall
have power to prescribe their own rules and forms of busi
ness; and to determine on tlie qualifications of their own
members; elect necessary officers, and make all orders which
they may deem conducive to the furtherance of die object lor
which such Convention shall assemble.
Sec. G. And be it further enacted. That it shall be the dutv
of his Excellency the Governor, to give publicity to the al
terations and amendments made in the Constitution in refer
ence to the reduction of the number of members composing j
the General Assembly: and the first Monday in October next. |

of the creation of any new County, it shall be added to some
contiguous Senatorial District; and that the said Convention
