Trnulty’s fifth season in America.
T RANBY will stand the season of 1839, at the stable of
George B. Robertson, at the Ceniral Course, Macon,

The season will commence the 15th of February, and close
the first of July. Good pasturage furnished gratis, and
mores fed without stint at 50 cents per day.
Tranby, now rising thirteen years old, is a beautiful rich
dapple bay without white, except a small rine round the coro
net of his near hind foot, full 15i hands high, of line bone,
great length, substance, beauty and power, and of unsurpass
ed action and carriage, llis racing performances prove that
he possesses ary fine speed, but his excellency was untiring
stoutness, and unflinching game and bottom. In these respects,
he perhaps, never had a superior iu this or any uiktr age. Ills
racing was mostly at New Market, where he commenced his
career in 1830. In point of blood, shape, size, pedigree aud
performances, as well us style ayd appearance. T ranby is un
rivalled. Ilis colts tried on the English turf, have performed
eery well, and the young btacklock horses, his half brothers,
are making ihe very best young stallions in the war Id, as known
from the running of tiie colts ol \ elncipede, (sire ot Amato,
the winner of the Derby, 1838, Queen of Trumps, only winner
of both Oaks arid St. Leger, Hornsea, and many ulLer capital
runners,) also. Malek, Laurel, Brutandorf, mid liis sun l’hy-
