In reply to yours of 15th inst,, it affords me pleasure to report favorably ou the
Wando Fertilizer, as to its merits as a manure for cottou. I tried it on two of my
plantations, side by side witli Peruviau Guano, both in equal quantity aud equal cost,
ander cotton, on unmanured 1 and. Where I used it dollar for dollar I think the yield
will be twenty-five per cent, more than the Peruvian Guano, and where I used it
pound for pound I think the yield will be ten per cent, more than the Peruviau
