A Michigan woman has recovered by
law all the money that her husband has
ipent in a liquor saloon for six years. The
prohibitory liquor law of that State does
not regard liquor as “property and the

that it had been paid to the liquor vender
without consideration. After this verdict
gets to be well understood throughout the
State very few men will he found courage

Georgia Bonds Buying Votes Against tie
Bingham Amendment.
The Washington correspondent of the
Richmond Dispatch, telegraphed the fol
lowing to that paper :
Railroad bonds endorsed by the State of
Georgia, hare been offered to secure votes
against tie Bingham amendment to the
Georg ia bill. In one instance this can he
proved. The Senator who was to liaro
been influenced has declared his intention
to vote for the amendment, and the partv
proposing the trade was promptly exposed
to the friends of the Amendment.
This is clear and definite.
T he charge is made in unmistakeahle
words. No one doubts that there arc Con
grassmen who will take bonds or anything
else valuable for their votes. The cadet
ship matter is fresh ; and no one in Geor
gia doubts for a moment that Georgia
State money is being used iu Washington
to induce Congress to continue in powe:
the Radical dynasty now ruling the State.
Afraid to submit to an election, the Bui
loek faction seeks Congressional ai 1 to
evar-ride the very Radical constitution
thay made, and deprive Georgians of tho
right of election next fall.

j inula, 1 find each ingredient highly extolled by
j our best and most progressive clinical investiga
tors. I have tested its effect in my own practice, i
: and have no hesiiKtion in recommending it. In
: my opinion, it is the best compound of its class
■ ever put before the public—exceeding by far all
j the various compounds of sarsaparilla. <tc., ever i
j invented. It is a decided Nerve Tonic, and In-
vigerator of the animal forces, aiding digestion
| and assimilation, and thereby producing healthy
j blood, which should be the basis of treatment in
! all chroftic diseases. Hoping you ss ill reap the re-
; ward yon deserve from the public as a benefactor,
1 am sir, yours tiulv,
CHARLES LLOYD
