See call of Chairman of Execu

should be a full turn out of the Par

country, and the Baltimore Convert

1. (). G. T. Anmveksaky.—On
the 14ill instant the Good Templars
of Milledgeville will celebrate their
first anniversary. A fine entertain
ment for mind and body is expected.
It is lo.be strictly a Templars affair.
Without the “pass-word” there will
be no admission. All members of
the Fraternity, “between ihe Poles”
are invited. "Visiting brethren from
other Lodges, in the Stale, are look
ed for, to ihis merry-making occa
sion. The Executive Committee of
the Grand Lodge would do well to
attend and take the measure and
spirt of these Templars. Ample
provision for all visitors will be made.
We hope to see representatives from
many Lodges.

The Human Roof and its Thatching.
If the man deserves well of his country
who makes two blades of grass grow
where only one grew before, surely be
who produces a glorious crop of hair on
a comparatively barren scalp deserves
the hearty thanks of the obliged party.
All honor, therefore, to Professor E. T.
LYON, for unquestionably, b s tenowned
KaTiiaikon accomplishes this object.
Gentlemen whose whiskers are shy of
makiug their appearance in force, or the
fibers of whose moustaches disclose those
"magnificent distances” for which Wash
ington City was once so famous, will find
this Hair Persuader the most wonderful
encourager of fibrous development that
has ever yet been invented. Both sex
es are advised to use it. as, by all odds,
it is the best aiticle for improving the
growth and beauty of the hair, keeping
it free from scurf and dandruff, prevent
ing it from becoming harsh, dry and
gray—giving it a rich gloss and endow
ing it with flexibility—that Toilet Chem
istry has ever evolved from the vegeta
ble kingdom.

SPECIAL NOTICES.
Tile liar Room Ur me il y for weakness of
tbe stomach is a dose of Rum Bitters.
They are surcharged with Fusel Oil, a
deadly element, which is rendered more
active by tbe pungent astringents with
which it is combined. If your stomach
is weak, or your liver or bowels disor
dered, tone, strengthen and regulate
them with Vinegah Bitters, a pure Ve
getable Stomachic, Corrective and Apert*
ent, free from alcohol, and capable of in
fusing new vitality into your exhausted
and disordered system. June 4, 4w.
A Piliful Cotidilfon.—It is a sad thing
to pass through life only half alive. Yet
there are thousands whose habitual con
dition is one of languor and debility.
They complain of no specific disease;
they suffer no positive pain; but they
have no relish for anything which af
fords mental or sensuous pleasure. In
nine cases out ten this state of lassitude
and torpor arises from a morbid stom
ach. Indigestion destroys the energy
of both iniud and body. When the waste
of nature is not supplied by a due and
regular assimilation of the food, every or
gan is starved, every fuuction inter
rupted.
Now, what does common sense sug
gest under these circumstances of de
pression ? The system needs rousing and
strengthening; not merely for an hour
or two, to sink afterward into a more
pitiable condition than ever (as it assur
edly would do if an ordinary alcoholic
stimulant were resorted to, but radically
and permanently.
How is tbis desirable object fo be ac
complished ? The answer to this ques
tion, founded on the unvarying experi
ence of a quarter of a century, is easily
given. Infuse new vigor iuto the diges
tive organs by a course of Hostetter’s
Stomach Bitters. Do uot waste time by
administering temporary remedies, but

HUMAN WRECKS-Every day and hour
we meet with broken down specimens of hu
manity—wrecks that seem past hope of sal
vage. At least seveuseighths of these might
he tilled with new vitality, by a course of
Du. WalkersCalifokkia Vinegar Biti tus.
Many are suffering from the reaction of rum-
polluted hitters or powerful minerals. It is
characteristic of Dr. Walker’s Great Restora
tive that it neutralizes the effect of these mis
called remedies, and accomplished, in due
time, a perfect cure.
NATURE GIVES US TEETH, bnt she
