So as to place it within the reach ot all. It will sow Wheat, Rye, Oats, Barley, &c., in any given quantity, trom 4to
16 pecks to the acre.
It will sow Guano, Plaster, Ashes, Rone Dust, or any of the manufactured Fertilizers; the desired quantity being
regulated with perfect accuracy.
ft will sow Corn or Deans iu Drills, by simply shutting off the feed to as many tubes as you desire.
It also Sews Clever and Grass Seeds, &c., &c.
Thus, in the Bickford & Huffman Drill, you have a machine to sow any of your grain
with greater regularity, Guano and other Fertilizers more perfectly and economically, and Grass or Clover Seed,
broadcast behind the Drill, after the sowing and manuring is performed, more evenly than can be done by hand, and
ell with one man and team ; and it is made a perfect broadcast machine, for either Crain or Guano, or both by simply
removing the tubes.
These Drills are three sizes, 7, 8 and 9 tubes, and two kinds, straight and double rowed—the latter being fortune
on rough, stony, or cloddy ground; and we furnish cither pole or shafts—the latter to work three horses abreast. Wo
also manufacture a Plain Drill for Seeding Grain only, but to whir h we attach our Grass Seeder.
A full supply of Repairing Parts always on hand, and Repairing promptly and efficiently executed.
