JOHN IERRYMAN & CO., Baltimore.
My son also used it alongside of a prominent arti
cle to test its value. He gives yours the decided pref
erence.
(From D. D. Pedue, Pike Cos., Ga.)
I take pleasure in informing you that, of five kinds
of fertilizers used on my plantation the past season,
there is but one, so far, that compares favorably with
your Ammoniated Dissolved Bones. I am highly
pleased with its results.
(From Hollis S. Kizar, Houston Cos., Ga.)
In relation to the Ammoniated Dissolved Bones
that j purchased from you last spring, I am happy to
state, thus far, I am better pleased with its effects
than I have been with any commercial fertilizer I
have ever used. I applied it to cotton at the rate of
from 150 to 200 pounds to the acre. The plant looks
healthy and vigorous, and is branching and forming
thickly. I believe it will become deservedly popular.
(From D. W. Coxwell, M. D , Randolph Cos., Ga.)
The Ammoniated Dissolved Bones, up to this time,
has given entire satisfaction. The cotton, upon land
where I used from 200 to 300 pounds per acre, is at
least two hundred per cent better than where none
was used, the quality of land beingthe same. I am
much pleased with the fertilizer and contemplate us
ing none other the coming year.
(From J H. Doyal, Spalding Cos., Ga.)
The Ammoniated Dissolved Bones is doing finely.
It proves to be equal to the most popular fertilizer ev
er sold here.
(From J. D. Wynn, Jacksonville, Fla.)
My cotton, on which I applied the Ammoniated
Dissolved Bones, though planted but six weeks and on
very poor land, will averago considerably better than
my neighbors’, which was planted four weeks earli
er. It is bearing as finely as it possibly can. I saw a
neighbor of mine, yesterday; wliom I let have some
of the Ammoniated to experiment with, and he in
formed me that his was aeting the same as n*jne.—
Where he made the application, it Las outgrown con
siderably the balance of his crop where other fertili
zers where used.
(From G. R. Reid, Wilcox Cos., Ga.)
I commenced planting on the 15th of April and
finished on the 24th. I applied 130 pounds of the
Ammoniated Dissolved Bones to the acre, on poor,
pine land that has been resting for the last three
years. I applied a double quantity of the prepara
tion on four rows and also planted four without ma
nuring, to test the difference. On the unmanured
rows the cotton, at this time, is six or seven inches
high •on rows with 130 pounds to the acre, twelve
and thirteen inches ; with 250 pounds 17 to 18 inch
es. lam very much pleased with results so far.
(From J. H. Allen, Lee Cos., Ga.)
All that have used the Ammoniatea Dissolved
B ines, in this section, are highly pleased with its ac
tion, and will use no other fertilizer the coming
season.
(From John H. Montgomery, Spartenburg Cos., S. C.
I have applied the Ammoniated Dissolved Bones
SOUTHERN CULTIVATOR—ADVERTISEMENTS,
on cotton, and have also applied another popular fer
tilizer. At this time, on the fields where the fer
tilizers were used the cotton is twice as large as
where there was no application, and the difference in
favor of yours is very perceptible. Where your arti
cle was used the porspect for doubling the crop i?
very favorable. The corn where I applied the Am
moniated is now three feet high ; where I made no
application it is but one foot.
[From Chas. Stanley, Randolph Cos., Ga.)
I am well pleased with the action of the Ammoni
ated Dissolved Bones on my cotton crop. The land
on which the fertilizer was applied will yield twice
as much cotton as the same quantity of land where
nune was used.
(From a prominent planter in Hancock Cos., Ga.)
Your Ammoniated Dissolved Bones, in this section,
is ahead of all other fertilizers.
(From G. W. Scott, Leon Cos., Fla.)
My cotton, where I applied the Ammoniated Dis
solved Bones, presents a thrifty appearance, and the
increased fruitage is quite remarkable. lam eertam
that the yield will be over double that gathered from
the adjoining lands where no fertilizers were used.—
I put in about 225 pounds to the acre. My neighbor,
Mr. C. M. Haldeman, and in fact, all whopurchased of
you, are well pleased.
From T. A. Stewart, Newton Cos., Ga.
The Ammoniated Dissolved Bones I purchased of
you last fall, I applied to wheat and cotton. It is
equal, if not superior to any fertilizer I have ever
used.
(From W. A. Stewart, Newton Cos., Ga.)
I used 800 pounds of the Ammoniated Dissolved
Bones to the acre and fully concur in the above
opinion.
(From T. J. A J. E. Miles, Montgomery Cos., Ala.)
The result of the application of your Ammooiated
Dissolved Bones bss been satisfactory. The differ
ence, where rows were planted without it, even on
good, fresh land, as well as on old land, is very per
ceptible; in faot, where only 125 pounds were ap
plied the cotton is almost as large again as where
none was used, and of much richer color and more
rigorous.
(From Russel P. Johuson, Griffin, Ga.)
From my own observation, your Ammoniated Dis
solved Bones, on cotton, is better than any other fer
tilizer, and if the verbal reports are to be credited,
my observations are universally corroborated. Ev
ery one, who applied it within my knowledge, speaks
in its praise.
(From John H. Cox, Morgan Cos., Ga.)
I ana very much pleased with the results, so far,
from your Ammoniated Dissolved Bones. My cotton
has grown off very rapidly and my neighbors inform
me that it is the best in our neighborhood. I have
been experimenting with fertilizers quite a number
ot years, and, although I cannot determine as yet
what the final result of yours may be, will say thi
