M to AUGUSTA FOCUS
When sistahs make rash deci
sions, ultimately everyone they love
is effected—their children, their
friends, and the men in their life.
And, in living through the harsh
fallout of heedless decisions, they
depreciate the good brothas...like
Kahlil. For every black female who
thought that chivalry was dead
amongst black men, read Fed Up
With the Fanny.
Dubbed “amale Terry McMillan
by Publishers Weekly, commercial
novelist Franklin White examines
the alternating perspectives of men
and women and the perplexities of
male-female relationships in this
breakthrough first novel Fed Up
With the Fanny.
With compassion and humor,
this remarkable first time novelist
responds to a wave of one dimen
sional relationship books on the
market, by gently flipping the coin
and articulating the concerns,
dreams and desires of a good man

be cleverly blind-sided with the
fact that men and women are both
complicated creatures—with much
the same bedside manner. “We all
need to be secure enough within
ourselves to take control of what
ever we're fed up with,” says
Franklin, stating that Fanny is
merely symbolicof family, finances,
friends—or whatever social dilem

make decisions that positively im

Fed Up With the Fanny asks,
answers and delivers on the aged
old question, “where are the good
men and what do they want?”
