RFP documents may be obtained at the office of the Augusta, GA Procurement Department, 530
Greene Sureet — Room 605, Augusta, GA 30911. Documents may be examined during regular busi
ness hours at the offices of Augusta, GA Procurement Department.
A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Friday, April 27, 2007 @ 10:00 a.m. in
Room 605 of the Procurement Department. All questions must be submitted in writing to the
office of the Procurement Department by fax at 706-821-2811 or by mail. The last day to sub
mit questions is Friday, May 4, 2007 by 4:00 p.m. No RFP will be accepted by fax, all must be
received by mail or hand delivered.
The local bidder preference program is applicable to this project. To be approved as a local bidder
and receive bid preference on an eligible local project, the certification statement as a local bidde:
and all supporting documents must be submitted to the Procurement Department with your,
bonafide RFP package.
No RFP may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after time has been called on the date of open
ing,
Bidders will please note that the number of copies requested; all supporting documents induding
financial starements and references and such other attachments that may be required by the bid are
material conditions of the package. Any bid package found incomplete or submitted late shall be
rejected by the Procurement Office. Any bidder allegedly contending that he/she has been improp
ery disqualified from bidding due to an incomplete bid submission shall have the right to appeal to
the appropriate committee of the Augusta Commission. Please mark RFP number on the outside of]
the envelope.
Bidders are cautioned that sequestration of RFP documents through any source other than the office
of the Procurement Department is not advisable. Acquisition of RFP documents from unauthorized
sources places the vendor ar the risk of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information upon which
to base his qualifications.

Augusta Housing Authority
This notice is to advise that effective Wednesday. April 11, 2007 the Augusta Housing Authority will
open the waiting list for the Section 8 Project Based Voucher Program for Maxwell House Apart
ments. The waiting lists for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and Moderate Reha
bilitation Program (River Glen Apartments) are currenty dosed. The waiting st for the Public
Housing Program is currendy open and is acaepting applications by applying on-line at
augustapha.org. The Augusta Housing Authority will also accept updated information from
persons who have previously applied for the Section 8, Moderate Rehabilitation and Public Housing
Programs.
Maxwell House, LLC will provide 44 units of permanent supportive housing at Maxwell House
Apartments. The Project Based Vouchers will be used to provide rental assistance for 44 low to mod
erate income families. Maxwell House, LLC will offer quality affordable housing while providing
essential supportive services to assist special needs families to move successfully from dependency to
self-sufficiency.
Applications for the Section 8 Project Based Voucher Program for Maxwell House Apartments will
be accepted by contacting Maxwell House Apartments at (706) 724-1927 or completing an on-line
applicarion at www.augustapha.org. ‘
The Augusta Housing Authority will accept applications for the Section 8 Project Based Voucher Pro
gram (Maxwell House Apartments) by contacting the above telephone number or on-line applica
tion. Walk-in customers wanting to apply for the Section 8 Project Based Voucher Program will
be seen during the open application period.
This notice is also to advise that effective Julyl2, 2007 at 5:00p.m., the Augusta Housing Authority
will dose the waiting list for the Section 8 Project Based Voucher Program (Maxwell House Apart
ments). ‘
