will spend this evening in Griffin

Mr. and Mrs. John Henry
Crouch motored to Atlanta Fri

Dr. H. J. Garland has returned
from Atlanta, where he has been
with his son, Halsey Garland,
who is ill at the Piedmont Sani
tarium. Mrs. Garland remained
with her son, whose condition is
im proved. He expe cts to return
to Griffith in about ten days.
William H. Beck, Jr. spent
Thursday in Atlanta on legal bus
iness.
Miss Lillie Milner, of Concord,
was shopping in Griffin Friday.
Mrs. Phil Crowder was among
