Dowis Fund growing A spokesman for the Max Dowis Appreciation Committee today reminded Griffinites that pledges and contributions are still being accepted. The contributions may be turned over to Cal Oxford at the Spalding Square Branch of the Commercial Bank and Trust Co. or Harry King of the First National Bank branch across from Spalding Square.
