the present propitious stage of my disease.’
About five years ago, on my passage from
Bordeaux, daring tbe month of January, from
imprudent exposure on deck, I WM seised
with a violent lever. Having no medial at

it, MI might for two weeks, when on my er*

Typhus. Tbe akin of my Pbyscian subdued
th* fever, but Phmnix-like, tbe termination
of this gave rise to x ditease equally distress

which were swelled to to enormous sue.—
These gradually subsided into ha--i tumors,
me of which oo my left knee affected the

evacuation of ous, mind with pieces of bone

moet excruciating prim in my joinu that man
ever experienced. Every thing that waa

which increased wiih every succeeding year.
Such wis ray paiofoi si uatiun that I despaired
of ever being restored to my hell h ; 1 had

of which 1 have tried in vain more remedies
