Savannah, on Monday the seventh day of
November, 1825—
From the failure of very many executor*,
administrator* and guardians, to nettle their
respective accounts in this Court, within
the period designated bylaw, viz. dethe
first Monday in January next, after the
date of their respective letters, to settles
first account, anil another account on thy
first Monday in every succeeding January,
until their -respective executorships, admin
istrations or guardianships shall b* conclifit
ed or cease :—It is therefore ordered by
the Court, that HUtnmopses be issued to and
served on atl delinquents who shall fail to
appenr before the Clerk of this > Court, at
his Office, and settle their respective ac
counts, on or before tho first Monday in
January next, as it is the determination
of,the Court to enforce strictly the injuuc
tions of the law in all such caBea.
It la further directed, that this order he
inserted in ajl.the papers printed in the city

CP A meeting of the monument committee,
was held yesterday :—present, the Chairman,
Messrs. Wm. II. Bulloch, R. W. Haber
sham, J. B. Read, J. P.Scbevex, J Shell-
man, and A. Telfair.
The report of the Treasurer having been
read, the following resolutions were thereup
on adapted:—
I. That the Secretary he authorized to id-
vertise, during the space uf three months, for
designs of Ihe monuments, proposed to b*
erected in Johnson and Chippewa Squares, in
memory of General Greene and Count Fu>
L asm:—likewse, that- he should offer pre-
minms, not exceeeding fifty dollars each, for
those two, which would most exactly combine
simplicity with neatness sod economy with
durability.
2d. Tint at the end of such time, the Se
cretary shall call a meeting of the Subtori,
ben. in order that this committee may then
and there make a fall exposition of their pro
gress.
31 That, he shall alto request all pereooe

throughout the state, to make reports of their
success respectively.
The Committee then adjourned.
