On Saturday, the 2Jst of August last, some
accomplished pickpocket (on board the steam
packet William Soahronk, Cnpt. Lyons, on her
trip from Charleston to Savannah,) succeeded in
purloining from uiy person or from the washing-
room, a tiue Gold Watch. It was manufactured
in Charleston, tlio name of thu maker, and tlio
number however not recollected. The face was
white, and it laid attached to it when taken from
my possession,u blackguard chain, and steel key.
Any information respecting the thiefor the watch
will be thankfully received, mid a liberal reward
will lie given for onu or both of them.
