very last, pronounced it of uiiri4olcd oxcol-

The first case thut cnino under my observation,
Was a.niuu that had lost the use of his nrui for
soino year*. Tho Ointment restored his arm
completely in a fow days. This surprised mo ns
much os it did the patient. After him there cumo
a man with sore eyes produced hy gunpowder—a
very had cuso indeed. One box only gufiiciud to
make a perfect citro. And I would hero reiuurlt
that hundreds have been cured of sore eyes,
who never found any relief but iu this Oint-
ntout.
There next enmo a woman who was suffering
excruciating pain from the ague in the face.—
Her physician (thinking it the toothache,) had
extracted eluveu of her teeth. But thu difficulty
still remained a* had as over. The Application
of the All Healing Ointment was attended with
immediate cessation of pain. Her face however,
began to swull, and the surface Was covered over
with pimplcs of eruption liko prickly hunt. Iu
one day all this disappeared. About tho same
timo, a lady igado application witli it for tlio
homlucho of long standing, uml a falling of the
lmir. Tlio Ointment cured hor hoadachc, aud
restored hor hair. Since this, I have known the
Ointment to cure case* often, twenty nnd forty
years standing. I hesitate not to say, that it is
uhnqst an infallible remedy for ibis complaint.
About this time there were two cases, one of
Consumption, amt tho other of Scrofula, which
laid baffled tlio skill of uvory physician who pros
cribed. It was wonderful to witness thu olTuctof
the Ointment on these persons. No ono would
believe it unless they had personally witnessed It.
But it did tho work properly. There was no half
way business, for they recovered their health iu a
few months.
Rheumatism, Fever, Quiiizy, Soro Throat, Cu
taneous Eruption*, diseases of tlio Spine, nml
Nervous Complaints were trented with unheard
of success. Butin Chest diseases, such os Asth
ma, pain and oppression, I believe there is no bet
ter remedy. Also, the common discuses, such as
Ulcer Sore*. Scald Head, Humor* of tlio Skin,
Inflammation, Piles, Sore Eyes, Sprains, Bruises,
mid Burns, it seems to be a perfect antidote.*-*
People would come into the store smiling, wish
ing to know if I was really the Seventh Son, or
whether tho Qintmuiitthut I gave them was indeed
all-healing in its nature. For said they, not one
single application has failed to cure.
Liver Complaint, particularly, was treated with
great ami universal success.
It produced such good results lit all cases that it
has heen noised abroad, nml I was offered sums of
money lor a receipt to make it for private use
merely. Every iiiuu spoke well of it, as it had
done so much good.
Not withstanding all, I have been Cnrcful not to
recommend it, except incases I knew it would do
good. I was never willing to lend myself to any
tiiiug without first, testing its merits. This l en
deavor to do on every occasion, and when I acted
ns one of tho Sick Committee in tho Lodge of I.
O. of O. F. I tlieii tested it upon Brothers iu the
mostcritical conditions, and hud ubundaut oppor
tunily of proving its worth.
And, incoticlusinni I would remark tlint I have
placed this Ointment before the people of tlio U.
States during tho last ninonr twelve months, nml
so general Ims been the satisfaction, nml so great
uinouut of good done, that more limn Imlf a mill
ion of boxes have already heen sold. J do really
believe there never was a medicine which gaiucil
such widespread, universal nml unanimous satis
faction us the All-IIealing Ointinenti From ull
parts of thu laud there hnvo come up one deep,
sincere and universal voice of approbation saying
“McAlister thy tongue hath dropped tho word of
truth and love, while health forever attends thy
foot steps.” And were I now to givo ull the good
sayings of tlio people, their unqualified approval,
their tliankfuliiess and gratitude, their joy at recov
eriiig from disease aud sicktiess, I could fill a
