Tlio lirwt ease that came under my observation,

a man with sore eyes produced by gunpowder—a

tliut hundreds have been cured of eoro eyes,
who never found any relief but in this Oint

Thero next camo u woman who was suffering
excruciating pain from tho aguo in Uio fiuie.—
Her physician (thinking it the toothache.) had
extracted .eleven of her teeth. But tlui dilficuUy
still rumiiiued as .bad us ever. The Application
of tlio All Healing Ointment was attended witii
immediate ccssutiun of pain. Her face- however,
began to swell, and the surface was covered over
with pimples of eruption liicu prickly heat. Iu
one day all this diuajipeared. About tlio same
time, a lady made application with it for the
headache of long standing, and a fulling of the
hair. ’I he Ointment cured her headache, and
runered her hair. Since this, 1 hnvo known the
Ointment to cure cases often, twenty arid forty
yours standing. I hesitato not to say, that ills
almost an infallible remedy for this complaint.
About this time there were two cases, one of
Consumption, and tlio other of Scrofula, which
had baffled tho skill of every physician who pros
cribed. It wus wonderful to witness tlio effect of
the Ointment on theso persons, No orio would

But it did the work properly. There was no half

Rheumatism, Fover f Quin/.y, Sore Tliront, Cu

People would cuuio into the store simling, wish

whether the Omtiuont tlmt Iguvo them was indeed

Liv6r Coiupluiiit; particularly, was treated with
great ami universal success.
It produced such good results in all cases that it
has been noised iibroad, and I. was oll'ered sums of
money for a receipt to moke .it for privote uso
merely. Every man spoke well of it, as it had
done so much gorid.
Not withstanding all, I have been cureful potto

good. I was never willing to lend myself to aiiv

deavor to do on every occasion, aud when I acted

O. of O. F. I then tested it upon Brothers in tho

And, in conclusion, I would remark that I have
placed this Ointment before the pooplo oftlio U.

so general has been the satisfaction, and so great
amount of good done, that more than hull*a mill

believe there never was a medicine which gained
such widespread, universal and unanimous satis

einmcnce and distinction ; for thirty-six'hours I
suflcred ns much, to all appearance, as it was
possible for human nature to endure, and at last
found relief billy by the help of the catheter. I
applied then to several eminent physicians both
in Baldwin and Jones, without receiving any ben
efit other than a temporary relief, for my com
plaint would every two or three days return, aud
tlio catheter was my only helper, in 18371 re
moved to tliis county, and brought with mo my
tormenting complaint ami my friendly catheter.—
Here, its there, 1 applied to tliu most skillful phy
sicians, as I thought, and hero, as there, 1 receiv
ed no benefit from them. In September 1842,
after having suffered at times tho ino.^t oxcruciu-
ting pains for eight years und nine months, and
after having spent a great deal of money (at least
$500) ou doctors during the time, I was induced
to try Dr.M. S. Thomson, ol*Macon, arid though
I entertained tho most violent prejudice to Jus.
mode of practice, my necessity compelled mo to
go, furl hud tlmn boon confined to my house for
ton days, andlmd to resort to tho use ofthe ca
theter three or lour times daily, lit this misera
ble plight I - loll- homo, went to Dr. Thomson,
stated my case to hint, and lie gave mo mddieiiic.
Iu half an hournrtojr taking his first dose, I felt that
ease, aud had that Iren and copious discharge of
urine which I hud not felt or had iu almost nine
years. Ami from thut time to this present day,
March 20th, 1847, I haVu had no return ofmy
complaint, and no more use for my catheter. lit
order to make tho cure permanent I continued
the uso of thu medicine several mouths.'' Since
thou I take nothing for it. I eat, drink, sleep,
and work as in former days, aud feel as well ami
sound as over I was. You may well suppose that
it did not take long to banish prejudice at that
rate, and I now say to the alliicted, that I believe
in mnny instances that prejudice stands more iu
the way of their recovery titan the incurability of
their diseases. Such, Mr, Editor, is my expe
rience of Dr. Thomson's treatment, and such the
results. Neither ho nor his remedies nvcsl any
qticoiuium from mo : the skill ofthe one and tlio
efficacy oftlio other are too well known for tlmt;
