shall ho considered public nuisances.
Passed in Council 2d August, 1857.
Skc. 10. Bo it further ordained, That it shall
not bo lawftil for any cow.stoer, lioifor, or calf, to
bo or go at largo within the limits oftlio City from
tho settiug oftlio sun to tho rising of tho same,ami
the ownors of such cattle, so found at large, shall
forfeit and pay a sum not exceeding five dollars
for oach and every time any such uuimul shall be
found ut large, and it shall be the duty of the City
Marshal and City Constables to take such cuttle
so found at large, contrary to tho provisions of
this ordinance, and impound thorn until the said
lino and nil costs are paid; and if tho said uuimul
bo not claimed in five days, it shall be the duty of
,tho City Marshal to sell the same at tho pound,
first giving at least live days notice in one of the
public gazettes of the. City, of the description of
tho uuimul, and tho timo and place of sale; and
ho shall pay tho tiett proceeds after deducting
tho lino and costs, into the City Treasury, sub
ject to the order of Council, who may und shall
order the same to be paid to tho owner of such
animal when required.

during this yonr, and have for the last two months
been aillicted with Fever and Ague. I have tried
ninny remedies recommended lor the cure of that
disease, ull of which proved inefticucious. A few
days since on arriving at this place, I was again
attacked, and by rcconimondaliou of your Agent
here, was induced to give your medicino u trial,
and I am pleused to stuto it eHected a permanent
cure. I led it due you and those persons nf-
flicted with diis unpleasant malady, to tender to
