which cannot be relied on for any considerable

There ncxtcnnio a woman who was Buffering
excruciating pain from tho ague iu tlm face.—
Her physician (thinking it tho toothache,) had
extracted eleven of her teeth. Bill tho difficulty
still remained as bad a# ever. The Application
of the All Holding Oititmeut was attended with
immediate cessation of pain. Her face however,
began to swell, and the surliieo was covered over
with pimples of eruption like prickly heat. In
one day all thi# disappeared. About the same
time, a lady made application with it for the
headache of long wtaiiiliug, aud a falling of the
hair. The Ointment cured Iter headache, and
restored her hair. Since this, 1 lmve known the
Ointment to euro casus often, twenty and forty
year# standing. 1 hesitate not to say, that it is
almost an iufallihlc remedy for this complaint.
About thi# time there were two ease#, one oi

had bullied the shill of every pbvsiciau who pres
cribed. It was wonderful to witness tho effect of
the Ointment on these persons. No ono would
believe it unlo##they had personally witnessed ii.
But it did the work* properly. There was no half
way Im.smu.-:*, for they recovered their health iu a
few mon'hs.
Rheumatism, Fever. Quiuzy, Sore Throat, Cu-

of success. But in Chest diseases, such as Asth

Ulcer Sores, Scald Head, Humors of the Skin,

People would come into tho store smiling, witil
ing lo know if 1 was really the Seventh Bon, or
whether the Ointment that 1 gave them was indeed
all-healing iu it* nature. For said they, not one
single application hus failed to cure.
Liver Complaint, particularly, was treated with
great aud universal success.
It produced such good result* in all cases that it
has been noised abroad, and 1 was offered sums of
money for a receipt to make it for private use
merely. Every man spoke well of it, u# it had
doneho much good.
Not withstanding all, I have been careful not to
recommend it, except ill eases I knew it would do
good. 1 was never willing to lend myself to any
thing without first testing its merits. Thi* 1 en
deavor to do on every occasion, and when I acted
ns one of the Sick Committee in the Lodge of I.
O. of O. F. I thou tested it upon Brother* in the

And, in conclusion, I would remark that 1 have
placed this Ointment before thu people of ihe L\
States during the la -t nine or twelve uiomhs, and
so general ha# been the satisfaction, and m
amount of good done, that more than half a mill
ion of boxes have already been sold. I do really
believe there never was a medicine which gained
such widespread, universal and unanimous satis-
faction ns the All-1leafing Ointment. From all-
parts of the laud there have come up one deep,
sincere and universal voice of approbation saying
‘•McAlister thy tongue hath dropped the word of
truth and love, while health forever attends thy
foot steps.” And vyerc I uow.to give all the good
