Allow me to call your attention to one of the great
est aud most useful Medecines ever discovered.
It is not nry intention to tax you with a long and
tiresom advertisement, but I lay before you the
testimony of the most respoctable families in the
United States, most of my certificates ore from the
city of Savuiuiah, where I reside, and mnnyfrom
your own State, where the Medicine is used with
great aud astonishing success; it has proved itself
to be superior to any other Medicine for the cure
of Fever and Ague, which it will do In the very
short space of Twelve Hours, it has uever been
known to fuil to effect a certain cure. The Med
icine is a harmless aud tasteless one, which will
make it the most populnijMedicineinthe Southern
States. The Medicine contains no mineral pre
paration whatever, but la a harmless Vegetable
matter only. To Planters, this Medicino is a val
uable preparation, as it cures all coses in twelve
hours, and does not require any time to ho lost; all
that is to be done is to tuke the Medicine and to go
to work. To the Rice Planter itisavuluubleMed-
• iciue, as it does not contain any mercurial or min
eral preparation whatever, ana is therefore a safe
Modicine for those who are liable to exposure. I
beg you, do not let me have to tax you so often with
advertisements, certificates, &c. It has already
proved itself to bewh&t I say it is, and the greatest
proof is every body is recommending it to he Jthe

what he thinks of Humphreys’Remedy for Fever
and Ague, and ofcourse, to he convinced, you will
try it, at least I hope so.. Here is my offer to any
Planter of South Carolina,-who will either call on
Doct. P. M. Cohen, of Charleston, S C. or myself,
in the city of Savannah, and either of us will give
enough for twelve coses, and if it doeB not cure ten
out of twelve, we will refund the amount paid for
it. Your are to see the Medicine taken as I have
directed.
Owing to the heavy rains during the past Bum-

cases of so delicato a uature, to exhibit certificates of
cures performed but we can assure the afllictod, that

This Extract of Harsiiparllla has Itron expressly pro-
pared in reference to female complaints. No female
who has reasou to suppose she is approaching that
critical period, ,l The turn of life,'’ should neglect to
take it, as it is a certain preventive for any of the
numerous and liorribla diseases to which feinnies are
subject at tills time of life. This period may be de
layed for several years by using this medicine. Nor
is it less vuiunblo for thoso who aro approaching wo
manhood, ns it is calculated to a*>ist nature, by quick*
suing th»i blood and invigorating the system. Indeed,
this medicina is invaluable for all tho delicate disea

This Medicine Inti acquired a very ex-

hopelessly for years under cutaneous and glandular disorders, chronic rheumatism.
And many other complaints springing from a derangement of th« secretive organ*
ul the circulation, have been robed as it were from the rack of disease, and now,
with regenerated constitutions, gladly testify to the efficacy of this inestimable
preparation. The testimony of those who have been cured by its use, with their
residences, has been published from time to time i and were it desirable, a mass
of the most overwhelming testimony could bo brought forward, proving moat con
clusively iu inestimable value. The afflicted, and those who have not used this
medicine, are invited to make a trial of iu virtues, and appropriate to themselvea the
