has appointed Dr. Jerome Y. C. Ropenhurty,
of New York, his sole American Agent, for tho
sale of his wonderful medicine, known in Franco
us The Wife’s Friend, or Mother’s Assistant the
most extraordinary medical discovery tho world
1ms over Been. Its province i9 to Lessen the
Puius of Child-Birth, and promote a safe, easy,
and speedy delivery, which it does by assisting
nature. It is perfectly harmless, efficacious,
pleasant to the taste, and never failsto protnoto
an onsy and safe delivery, and improves tlirt gen
eral health of both mother and child. It has been
tested for years in alllhcprincipal Lying-Ill Hos
pitals of Europe, nnd receives thu sauctipu of
nearly all thofpromirient Colleges and Medical
men ofthe old world. It is thegroutestuiedicine
in thu world ; ns all will ndmit that a medicine
must be that will lessen the terrible pains usually
ntteuduiiton childbirth. There is no mistakod-
bout this medicine doing nil that is said of it.
It never fails. It is in the form of a fine, light
powder, to be made into a drink, and used for n
low weeks previous to the expected event, nnd
its price is so low as to bring it within the roach
of all. Surely no humane husband will suffer
his wife to endure pain, when itcan he so easily

There nextenmo a woman who was suffering
excruciating pain IVom the ague in die facu.—
Her physician (thipking it tho toothache,) bad
extracted eleven of her teeth. But the' difficulty
rtill remained as bad as ever. The Application
ofthe All Healing Ointment was attended .will)

began to swell, and the surface tvns covered tript
with pimples of eruption like prickly heat. I ti
ono day all this disappeared. About tlie samci
time, a lady made application With it fo;r tlie
headache of long standing, olid a falling Of the

restored her hair. Since this, I have known tho
Ointment to cure cases of ten* twenty and forty
yenrs standing. I liesitato not to any, that it/a
almost an infallible remedy for this complaint.
About this time there were two cuses, ono-rif
Consumption, and the other bf Scrofula, ^hich
had hnfiled the skill ol every physician whd pros
cribed. It was wonderful to witness the effect of
the Ointment on these persons. No one wditjd
believe it unless they hud personally witnessed it,
But it did tho work properly. There \VaV ho half

few months. • i •
Shounintism, Fever, Qiilnzy, Soro Throat, Cti-

Influimnution, Piles, Soro Eyes, Sprains, Bruises,

People would come into the store smiling; wish
ing to know if I was really the Seventh Son, or
whether the Ointment that I gave them was indeed
all-qealing in its nature. For Hold they, riot one
single application has fuiled (o cure.
Liver Coniploint, particularly, was treuted with
great and universal success.
It produced such good results In all cases that it
bus been noised abroad, and I was offered sums of
money for a receipt to make it for private trim
merely. Every man spoko will of it, as it hod
donoso much good. , . i .
Notwitbsuinding rill, I have been careful not to
