Frankln county, Goo. on the 5th Sept,
last, a negro man, BILL, commonly called
BUCK, about 30 years of age, and about 5
feet six inches high, very black, and impudent
in his Speech. Ho also carried with him a
negro woman named FAN, his wife. Fan is
rather yellow coinplcxioncd; site generally
wears long hair, and commonly wears combs
in her hair. They curried a considerable
quantity of clothes with them. It is expected
that they have a pass, but if they havo it ia
S..gcd. It is expected that they will aim (br
Augusta, Savannah or Charleston, as tho fid-
low went to Augusta about 8 months ago,
with a pass in my numo though a forged one.
I will give tho above reward fur the negroes,
with sufficient proof to convict any person or
persons of aiding, ussistiug, or harbouring
them, or 1930 for tho fellow, delivered to rue
or lodged in any sale Jail, so that I inny gel

have made her way to Savannah, oa sho was
heard of being on a raft on tho river, and of
being transferred from thence to a cotton
boat. Sho is intimately acquainted with most
oftho boat hands on tho river, and is cuhiiing
and artfhl. Sho was heard of having n kind
of free pass, and also a puss said to be well
dictated, giving her liberty to hire her own
time. Owners and musters of vessels uro
forewarned from tuking her out Of tho State,
und all poisons arc notified ugainst harbouring
or employing her. Tho ubovo reward will be
paid, for her delivery in any jail so I get her.
