many physicians, taken much medicine, but
all to hut little purpose. The 12th of March,

tinued so to do for several days in succession,
and on the 11th ofthe same month was con
fined lo my bed, w here I lay lor two mouths
until I was reduced to such a state of debility,
that mv friends began to despnirof my recove
ry. I had made use also of nil the popular
remedi* s without benefit, nnd having acciden
tally heard of this Specific, I determined to
give n u trial, aulicipiutiig rtum iiiu use or it,
no hotter result, than had attended the uso of
all the remedies I had taken; but in this I was
happily disappointed. At my ve ry lowest
state I commenced the use of this Specific.—
l took the first dose at night in n little herb tea,
sweetened, which threw me in a gentle per
spiration and procured for mo a good night’s
rest. I continued to take the medicine ns di
rected, uud in about five days my cough was
completely stopped and have nut had any re
turn since. Iam now perfectly satisfied of
the superior quality ol’lhis Specific over every
oilier medicine offered for the cure of the

with a very had cough and shortnessofbrentli,

having been persuaded by my parents, 1 was
induced to make trial of De La Monterat’H
Colombian Vegetable Specific, and the use of
throe bottles completely restored me to health.
