New York, March 10,1843.—I was last fall at
tacked with* pain and severe soreness of the chest,
which continued for a number of week*. I had
previously for several years been subject toe per
manentweakness of the chest caused by a strain.
This last attack gave me much apprehension; as I

About the middle of December I began to take
