New Orleans, April 20.
Tho Ldla has just received accounts from tho Rio
Grande to tho 15th. A company of U. S. troops ar
rested Caravajal and seyeral of his associates, at
Rio Grande city, but released them. They were,
however, subsequently re-arrested by the U. S. Mar
shal, and conQnod in Fort Browne, under a strong
guard, where thoy now reraalh. Witnesses were sum
moned to attend an examination of the prisoners on
the 20th.
