pensary Physician for each of said districts, whose dnty it
shall tie to furnish the destitute sick within the limits of
his district with necessary medicines, to give them medical
and surgical advice and nttcntiou, to visit them at their
places of abode wliensnecossary. on every Monday and
Thursday, to attend In persou. or jy competent substitute,
between the hours n! 10 o'clock, A. M and 1 P. M., for con
sultation with out-door parties, and to keep always a com
petent supply of vaccine matter for vaccinating the poor
and to be furnished physicians, tho latter to pay a reasona
ble and proper price therefor, and to fill all prescriptions
signed by any member tt the Georgia Medical Faculty,
provided each of such sprescriptlons shall set forth the
name of the patient and embrace a certificate that tho pa
tient resides within the district of the Dispensary Physician
to whom It is addressed.
Sec. 3. Be it further ordslnod by the authority aforesaid,
That the said dispensary Physicians shnll be considered,
held and taken as officer* of the city, and shall be liable to
the same penalties for non-performance or neglect of any
of their official duties as are now proscribed In the case of
other city officers.
Sec. 4. Be It further ordained by the authority aforesaid.
That such Dispensary Physician before entering on the du
ties of his office shall take the oath prescribed for city offi
cers. and execute a bond with two securities In the penal sum
of one thousand dollars.conditiousl for the faithful perform-
i of his office. Each Dispensary Physician shall receive
In full compensation for medicines and services, a salary of

ful for any cow, steer, heifer or calf to be or go at large
within the limita of the city, from the setting of the snn to
the rising of the same ; and the ownera of such cattle so
found at large, shall forfeit and pay a sum not exceeding
five dollars for each and every time any such animal shall
be found at large ; and It shall be the duty of the City Mar-
ehal and City Constables to take such cattle so found at
large, contrary to the provisions of this ordinance, and im
pound them until ths said fine and all costa are paid, and If
the animal be not claimed within five days. It snail be the
duty of the City Marshnl to sell the same at the pound, first
giving at least five days’ notice In one of the public gnzettes
of the city of the description of the animal and the time
and place of sale, and he shall pay the nett proceeds, after
