In accordance with the provisions of the act of 11th July.
1840. hereinbefore referred to, pre-emption clnlinx will not
be allowed to any of tho ab.,vo mentioned lend mineral
tracts, to bo offered ot Mineral Point, until after they have
been offered at public sale, and become subject to private
entry. And these tracts will be sold In such legal subdi
visions ns will Include the mine or mines at not less than
two dollars and fifty cents per aero; and if not sold at pub
lic snle at such price, nor shall be entered nt private sale
within twelve moths thereafter, the same shall bo subject
to snle ns other lands.
The offering of the above lands will be commenced on the
days appointed, nnd will proceed In the order In which they
are advertised, until the whole shnll have been offered, and
the sales thus closed; but no sale shnll be kept open longer
than two weeks, and no private entry of any of the lands
will be admitted until after the expiration of the two week*.

Under tho net of Congress, approved 3d March 1863. en
titled "An act to extend pre-emption rights to certain landB
therein mentioned,” the Pre-emption laws of the United
Stntes as they now exist are extended over the alternate
reserved sections of public lauds nlong the line of the rail
road hereinbefore mentioned, where the settlement and im
provements were rande prior to the final aUUment of tho al
teroate sections to the said railro-d. Therefore all claims
by pre-emption to any of tho alternate sections of public
lands within tbe limits originally reserved will attach, if
predicated u|K>n settlements made prior to tho 4th February
1853. the date of the final allotment,
. Claims within the six miles limits must he prnvon up at
any time before the day herein fixed for the commencement
of public sale, and are to lie paid for at the rate of two dol
lars and fifty cents per acre. Claims outside of six miles,
and within tho limits of the original reservation, must be
proven up prior to the restoration of said lands to private
entry.
Soldier’s bounty Lind warrants, at a dollar and twenty-
five cent* per acre, may be received in payment for either
class of land 5 ono warrant only, however, can be located
by each pre-emption.
Immediately after the closo of tho public sale directed

Dispensary Physician:
Sec. 1. Be It ordained by tho Mayor and Aldermen of the
city of Savannah and hamlet* I hereof in Council assembled,
and It Is hereby ordained by tho authority of the same,
That from and after the passage of this ordinance, the city
be. nnd it Is hereby divided into four Dlspensarv Districts,
the first to embrace all that part of the city lioundcd on
the north by the Savannah river, on the east by Jefferson-

and Thursday, between the hours of 10 o’clock A. M. and’l
o’clock. P. SL, for consultation with out-door patients, and
to koop always a competent supply of vaccine matter for
vaccinating the poor and to lurnish physicians, the lat
ter to pay n reasonable and proper price therefor.

Hint the said dispensary Physicians shnll be considered,
held anil taken as officer* of tho city, and shall bo liable to
the same penalties for non-performance or neglect of any
of tlicir official duties as are now prescribed in the case uf
